Account Manager

We are looking for a new account manager to manage and develop a portfolio of clients within the creative industry. Ideally we would like to find someone with experience in creative recruitment, but this is not essential. If you are a quick learner and someone with an interest in the creative sector, then this could be the role for you.

About You
As well as some previous experience as a recruitment consultant or agent, we are looking forward to meeting someone that is hardworking, considerate, focused and motivated. To succeed in this role, you need to have a mature attitude and professional nature and enjoy going and meeting clients face to face.
Sometimes the role can be demanding with last minute requests for freelancers, it is therefore so important that you are a fast worker, able to prioritise and stay calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management
-Managing the needs of a portfolio of Clients, developing long-term and trusted relationships by attaining a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of their organisations, cultures and staffing requirements.
-Receiving and consulting on client briefs and communicating details to relevant candidates.
-Maintaining strong client relationships through phone, email and face to face meetings.

-Developing long-term and trusted relationships with candidates by attaining a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of their skills and expertise.
-Identifying suitable new candidates to represent.
-Interview candidates, including making them aware of their obligations with regards to right to work, availability, cv updates and invoicing procedures.
-Continuously liaising and updating freelancers on existing jobs.

Compliance & Administration
-o ensure to work within the guidelines set by the REC’s Code of Professional Practice and the obligations set upon the Company by The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations, Agency Worker Regulations and Income Tax (Earnings and Pensions) Act in all dealings with Client & Candidates.
-To maintain complete and accurate records in the company database with the support of the Bookings Administrators.
-To comply with all relevant legislation including Health and Safety, Data Protection and Equality Laws at all times.

New Business Development
-To work alongside the Client Relations Manager to secure new business for the Company.
-Acquiring new clients through business development by all communication methods.
-Highlight to the Client Relations Manager any gaps in the market in terms of candidate and client requirements.

The Crewing Company was established back in 2005 to provide access to freelance talent in a friendly and reliable way. We are a specialist freelance recruiter to the creative industry.

We represent over 700 creative freelancers from producers and directors to editors and motion graphic designers with the average contract being between a day and 12 weeks. Our client portfolio spans across all areas of the creative process from Pre-Production right through to Post Production.
Our typical ‘client types’ include Advertising Agencies, Broadcasters, Post Houses, Studios, Production Companies, Corporate Companies and Charities although not limited to any of these.

This is a full time, permanent role with basic salary dependent on experience plus commission.

A minimum of 1 years experience in recruitment or other sales role is preferred.
