Stephanie Asplin

Founder & Chairman

Bio

With a background in Children’s and Live TV, Stephanie was inspired to start her own agency in late 2005. As Chair of TCC, she now gets to see it grow from a different angle. Steph is listed in Who’s Who of Britain’s Young Business Leaders, a mum of three and used to host her own breakfast show on Radio Caroline. She also owns 15 chickens, 4 alpacas, 2 dogs and 1 cat.

Laura Davis

Managing Director

Bio

TCC’s Managing Director, Laura, has been with the company since 2012. She is passionate about creating strong, lasting relationships between clients and freelancers, allowing them to focus on creating great content.

Laura is also a Coaching for Performance Accredited Coach, and is focused on creating a positive, ambitious and encouraging working culture, she loves leading our team!

Laura loves music and is always trying to get the team listening to her monthly playlists…her taste is eclectic!

Eve Clarke

Operations Manager

Bio

Fresh out university and after a brief period as a runner at the BBC, Eve originally joined the TCC family in early 2007 as Company PA, and fast became one of our top Account Managers. After a little time out to raise her young family, we were lucky enough to entice her back. Having been at the company since its early days, Eve has a great knowledge of how everything works, combined with her incredible organisational skills this makes her the perfect Operations Manager. Dan Grant

Finance Manager

Bio

Dan joined the TCC team in September 2016 as an Accounts Clerk and worked his way up to our Finance Manager. He has grown with the company, so his knowledge and skills are so valuable to us, our freelancers and our clients. Dan has a cool and calm nature which is wonderful to be around, and he continuously makes sure we are organised, efficient and accurate when it comes to accounts.
When he’s not processing invoices, Dan enjoys working out (after indulging a crazy load of calories), watching sport – mainly basketball, boxing and football, listening to music or podcasts and debating amongst friends.

Marilyn joined the TCC team in November 2019 and helps to keep TCC’s compliancy top notch! With an international background, Marilyn brings a wealth of experience in compliance, business development and change management across the recruitment, creative industries and social development sectors. Katherine Gibson

Senior Account Manager

Bio

Katherine joined The Crewing Company in 2019 after working over 4 years at a major camera hire firm and has a degree in TV production. She is always keeping up to date with the latest trends and equipment releases and is always helping the team with her knowledge for any Crew roles, which is why she makes a great Senior Account Manager. Katherine puts her all into each and every vacancy and is focused on connecting the right freelancer to each role. Katherine also loves to run with competing in a number of half marathons and marathons over the years and volunteering at races whenever she has the spare time. katherine.gibson@thecrewingcompany.com

Kate Stacey

Account Manager

Bio

Kate is one of our Account Managers. She has experience working in a variety of support roles within the Film & Television industry and her enthusiasm for the creative world underpins her commitment to finding the ideal crew for each individual project. Kate is personable and versatile with a good sense of humour. She is valued at TCC because she is dependable and a good listener. And if you ever need someone to talk to about that great film, TV drama or reality show you saw, she’s here for that too.

Tom Dumbleton

Account Manager

Bio

Tom is one of our brilliant Account Managers, his diligent and calm approach to the role means clients and freelancers love working with him. He has experience working in a variety of different positions within the film and creative industries, with a passion for photography & Art. He has a strong administration background and can work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Tom’s biggest passions are music, specifically The Smashing Pumpkins, and Arsenal.

Chloe Turvey

Account Manager

Bio

Chloe’s friendly, speedy and meticulous approach makes her perfect the Account Manager role, and exactly why freelancers and clients enjoy working with her. Chloe has a vast amount of customer service experience making her great at bookings, and she loves to take on a new challenge. Some of Chloe’s interests include visiting art exhibitions and wild swimming!

Bio

Alexia joined in July 2021 as a Booking’s Assistant, having previously worked in a post-production house as head runner & receptionist – making her perfect for the role, and understanding the needs of our clients and freelancers! Alexia also has an entrepreneurial streak, and started a wax melt and home décor business in the beginning of the pandemic on Etsy. In Alexia’s spare time she enjoys cooking, playing computer games and watching Disney films and old school TV/films. She loves listening to music and talking to people about all the concerts she’s been to. She collects Vinyl’s and hopes to build a vinyl library one day.

Anna Lowne

Bookings Assistant

Bio

Anna has always had a passion for the creative industries. With a degree in Theatre and a background in performance and working front of house, Anna has a genuine interest for the work our freelancers create, making her a great bookings assistant! Anna enjoys filming and editing her own video content in her spare time and after work you can find her either at the gym, roller skating, out for a run or exploring different areas of the city with friends. Anna has a bubbly and friendly personality which makes her a great addition to the team!
