Out Laws
TCC Self-Shooter Lucy Galliford worked for Queer The Way (now: The Good Side) on Out Laws, Lexi Powner and James Lewis’s strident documentary that chronicles the battle of a gay Namibian man who stands up for the rights of same-sex couples. A celebration of the resistance, it captures courage, humour, and resilience it takes to defy a legacy of hatred, in order to forge a future of dignity and equality. Out Laws premiered at the British Film Institute Flare Festival in March 2025.
