Out Laws
TCC Self-Shooter Lucy Galliford worked for Queer The Way (now: The Good Site) on Out Laws, Lexi Powner and James Lewis’ strident documentary chronicles the battle of one gay Namibian man to stand up for the rights of same-sex couples. A celebration of resistance, capturing the courage, humour, and resilience it takes to defy a legacy of hatred and forge a future of dignity and equality. Out Laws premiered at the British Film Institute Flare Festival in March 2025.
