A Look Back At 2015
Well the tree has been taken down and the festivities of Christmas are beginning to feel like a distant memory… But we thought we’d take this opportunity for a quick summary of what 2015 looked like for us and our freelancers.
We Had Our Busiest Year Ever!
Well this year we broke all previous records we are delighted to have secured well in excess of 11,000 days of work for our freelancers while also filling a host of permanent positions. Our post production department was by far our busiest, accounting for almost half all vacancies received and filled. We are proud to have worked on a huge variety of telly projects including The Island with Bear Grylls, Tattoo Fixers, Desi Rascals, Big Brother and the Xtra Factor as well as campaigns for some of the worlds most recognisable brands including GSK, Hugo Boss and Microsoft.
Most Booked Freelancer
The award for most booked #TCCFreelancer goes to Producer Director, Ivo Belohoubek.
Ivo was in demand by our clients on almost every working day of the year!
And the award for most viewed showreel on our website and social media goes to #TCCFreelancer & Editor, James Moriarty.
If you didn’t catch it, we ran a little article on him back in September
We Rebranded!
In October we gave ourselves a facelift!
The new and up to date look represents not just our independence and the agility this enables but also better reflects the diversity of sectors, platforms and territories for which our clients and freelancers make content.
We Became Multi Award Winning!
2015 saw us pick up a selection of snazzy glassware (not all of which got drunkenly broken at the awards ceremonies) with wins at:
The Marketing and Digital Recruitment Awards (including Best Freelance Team), The Women in Business Awards, & The Great British Entrepreneur Awards
We Ran a Christmas Giveaway!
In the run up to Christmas and in partnership with our friends at The Cinch Group we ran a competition to give away a year’s free Limited Company Accountancy or Umbrella service to one lucky participant.
We are delighted to announce that the winner of the contest was #TCCFreelancer and Editor, Ian Richards!
