The Crewing Company in Action: 2025 in Review

This year has been different for everyone in the industry – some have seen some success, and others have continued to feel the pressures of the industry slowdown. We’ve certainly felt both sides ourselves, and whatever your experience, we appreciate the work you do and the challenges you face!

That is why we are particularly proud that our freelancers remain so highly valued by our clients. Across Broadcast, Branded Content, Short Form, Sport Content and Podcast Production, their experience and professionalism have continued to set the standard. The projects delivered this year speak for themselves.

Art Director Sammy Baxter worked for Park Village on a new campaign for Seat Unique, directed by Tom Gorst.

Joe Humphrey edited this show for NBCUniversal that was released on Hayu.

Yasser Rahman worked on Special Ops: To Catch a Criminal Series 3 for Zinc Television London showcasing his Avid skills.

Philipp Zakrzewski showcased his AI expertise by generating stunning stills for Domino’s campaign.

Camera Operator Adam Ford worked on a promotional material for Discovery Education presents Doodle.

Sidney Sonnerberg cut the end-of-day show highlights, which airs immediately after the live broadcast.

Highlights from the Year

⚓ 95 new clients joined us this year, bringing our community to over 1,500 production companies, agencies and brands who trust us to support their work. Take a look at some of them.

🚀We launched TCC Partnered & TCC Connect+, new services designed to offer deeper, more strategic support to freelancers and clients who need an embedded, collaborative approach.

🔗Our updated website now clearly showcases the full breadth of roles we represent, making it easier than ever to discover and engage the right talent for every brief.

Dynamic Industry Difficult to Predict

Briefs evolve, budgets shift and timelines compress. In those moments, having the right partner matters more than having all the answers.

With access to over 570 experienced creatives, we support clients at every stage of production – whether you need a single specialist or a full team. From broadcast-scale projects to short form and social-first content, we focus on matching the right talent to the realities of the brief, without compromising on quality.

We don’t have a crystal ball for 2026 (and many of us have almost given up trying!). But the signs we’re hearing from clients – new commissions, early green lights, and some really exciting projects in the pipeline – are giving us reasons to be optimistic.

As we look ahead, our commitment remains unchanged: to champion outstanding freelancers, to support our clients with intelligence and care, and to help move the industry forward with confidence.
