Bethani Gowland – Stylist

Bethani is our lovely Manchester based Stylist, whose style icons include FKA Twigs and Elizabeth Taylor in “Anthony & Cleopatra” (if you take a look at Bethani’s hairstyle I’m sure you will see why!)

A graduate from Leeds University in Fashion Innovation & Communications, Bethani has spent the 4 years since graduating building up her client base, and has styled for a number of well know magazines including Ok Magazine, Now Magazine and assisting on i-D magazine and Nylon. More recently she has styled for an Adidas campaign, due to be shown in Footlocker stores very soon!

Bethani has a real passion for creating original and contemporary looks. Her womenswear projects vary from colour-popping playful shoots to Lo-Fi East London cool, barely-there underwear shoots and pretty pastels. Bethani has also styled for menswear shoots, TVCs, and celebrity shoots with the cast of Emmerdale.

Well used to working closely with photographers, art directors, designers and buyers, Bethani knows exactly how to work through style direction and complete projects in short time frames. These working relationships have flourished as Bethani has progressed in her career, which is a real testament to her professionalism and enthusiasm for every job she works on.

In addition to styling, Bethani also has experience in visual and online merchandising, marketing, events and PR. This has afforded her valuable insight into the end goal of the client brief. Bethani has worked in this capacity for Fashion Union, Ringspun and Manchester label Elvis Jesus.
