Senior Post Producer and Junior Post Producer Roles

Our client is a creative agency and photographic studio complex in London, dedicated to high-end creative production for the fashion, luxury and beauty industries. They are currently on the lookout for candidates for both Senior and Junior roles in their Post Production department for permanent positions, starting as soon as possible. Senior Post Producer

Key Responsibilities

– Manage post on all productions as they progress through our in-house facility.

– Liaise between internal departments – creative, production, project and account management – and our clients ensuring smooth workflow and delivery of assets to schedule and budget.

– Have a sound working knowledge of all the various roles, functions, capabilities, equipment, and applications within the Post Production Department with experience devising cost and time efficient post production workflows on Premiere, FCP, AE and Baselight, Smoke and Flame.

– Interpret creative briefs and be capable of quantifying, pitching and quoting all aspects of post

production undertaken by the business and keeping the projects on track.

Day To Day

– Arranging kick off meets, briefings with creative, preparing budgets, assigning operators, briefing bookings, scheduling client reviews, taking and distributing client / creative feedback & tracking work orders and costs.

Qualification/Experience

– 5 years post producer experience in the industry with a demonstrable track record of success

– The candidate must be self motivated and extremely organised.

– A good understanding of the digital workflows including vfx, editing, grading.

– Knowledge of the different digital file formats and codecs available.

– Full understanding of the post production process.

– Flexible hours, working to tight deadlines.

Post Production Bookings / Junior Post Producer

Key Responsibilities

– Managing availability and scheduling of all staff and equipment.

– Scheduling internal meetings.

– Tracking operator expenses and petty cash requirements for jobs.

– Tracking operator overtime.

– Processing operator invoices and payments.

– Assisting the Moving Image Producers with quotes billing and office support.

– Liaising with staff to ensure jobs are set up correctly, all assets are ready and distributed properly.

– Liaising with the Head of Post and Post Producer to ensure effective management.

– Ensure that the operators are filling out time sheets appropriately.

– Ensure that the communication regarding maintenance is being actioned.

– Building templates within our scheduling package to streamline booking.

– Liaising with IT/tech support to ensure that operator issues are communicated and resolved.

Experience

– This role will suit a bookings manager with at least 2 years experience and looking to step up as a Jnr. Post Production Producer.

– Full understanding of the post production process & digital workflows including vfx, editing & grading.

– The candidate must be self motivated and extremely organised, with a strong attention to detail.

– Flexible hours, working to tight deadlines.

– Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
