TCC to Launch First International Office in Abu Dhabi

We are delighted to announce that The Crewing Company has, this week submitted an application for a licence to operate from the Abu Dhabi Media Zone, twofour54. Paperwork to incorporate The Crewing Company MENA FZ-LLC as a company in the UAE has been filed and a lease on premises at twofour54’s Khalifa Park complex has also been signed.

Although a year of preparation has been undertaken and we already have a team of freelancers working in the zone, TCC MENA will officially launch in January. The operation will be headed by Senior Consultant, Naoma Nagahawatte, who will relocate from London at the New Year and will work closely with twofour54 to help attract world class talent to the zone.

We plan to develop a pool of exceptional freelance talent, from throughout the Middle East and internationally, who are licenced to work freely within the zone. This will enable media zone partners (the companies doing business here) to engage freelancers with confidence from a trusted partner offering an efficient and hassle free bookings process.

We want to deliver the message that it is not a painful process to come and work in Abu Dhabi and we will assist many of the freelancers on our books in the UK to get licenced and take advantage of the fantastic opportunities the Media Zone has to offer.

We will also significantly expand our pool of Arabic speaking talent and will be looking to Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan and Syria as well as signing local Emirati freelancers.
