#TCCTopTen – Meet Dani!
This week we are introducing the #TCCTopTen. A cheeky (and sometimes eye opening) insight into the lives of our staff, our freelancers and our clients. We give each a list of 40 questions and invite them to answer their favourite ten! We will post a new one every Wednesday, so keep your eyes peeled.
To launch this new tradition we would like to introduce Consultant, Dani. She has been at TCC since May 2014 and is a breath of fresh air…or mint some would say…as she is always chewing gum.
1. What did you want to be when you grew up?
An archaeologist. I really love dinosaurs and fossils. I would always go into the garden as a kid and dig through the dirt.
2. What is your favourite quote?
It’s engraved on the back on my iPod as a gift from my friends. Martha Graham, the dance Choreographer once said “Dance; The body says what words cannot.” I also love her other quote “Nobody cares if you can’t dance well. Just get up and dance. Great dancers are great because of their passion.”
3. Name one thing you want to achieve before you die?
The one thing I really want to do before I die is the splits. When I say that out loud it sounds so silly but I’ve always wanted to do that. That or being able to kick my leg to my head
4. What is the best prank you have pulled or had pulled on you?
Being the oldest sibling, I could tell my sisters anything and they would believe me. Outside our local Tesco there was a floor mosaic right by the entrance. I told my sisters that if they stepped on it the Evil Rasputin from the Cartoon film Anastasia would return and kill them. For years they wouldn’t dare go near it. (And still avoid stepping on it now)
5. Tell me something about you that most people don’t know?
I could speak Italian before I could speak English. Then I started school and my sentences would be English with an Italian word thrown in. Over time I just forgot it all completely.
6. Who would play you in the film of your life?
Shaliene Woodley – She’s just one of my favourite actresses at the moment and if I could choose to have her playing me that would be amazing. Although she looks nothing like me!
7. If you could give any advice to your thirteen year old self, what would it be?
Do not get blonde highlights. They don’t suit you.
8. What is your favourite Book, Film and Album?
Noel Streatfield’s Ballet Shoes is my all-time favourite book. My favourite film has to be Back to The Future, Marty and Doc are just perfect together and I have a major crush on 80’s Michael J Fox. It’s tough with my top album as it does depend on my mood but I’m going with one where I love every song on it and it currently is Marmozets, The Weird and Wonderful.
9. What subject would you choose if you were appearing on Mastermind?
I actually did apply for the show but it didn’t get anywhere! I love Gameshows and I’m also thinking about going on Pointless too. My specialised subject was going to be Wham! From 1982 – 1986 as I love that band so much.
10. Please show us your favourite photograph of you or photograph you have taken.
This photo is my favourite. I was out with my sister and her friend and I took this photo. I don’t have a clue how to use the camera but I just love the 70s vibe it gives off.
